The caller ID showed Virgin Mobile but also showed caller unknown. The caller, a man, asked for an unknown person. I told him I didn’t know the person. He asked are you sure. I said that this was not that person’ number. He hung up.
Call came in from 419 884 6302. I was outside and did not pick it up. They left a message. "This message is for XXXXX (My name), My name is Erin from SRS. Please call me about your estate. You will get my secretary. Tel her you want to talk to Erin." I sounded like a person. However, may have been a good immitation. As the call came from an 800 number with numerous complaints and they ask me to call a different number, I suspect it is yet another scam artist. I receive 8 to 10 scam calls daily. EXTREMELY annoying. How is it possible that our dam government won't force the phone companies to use technology and put an end to these dam scammers?
Some company named SRS Estate called left voicemail 4 times . Call back and they ask for your personal information, Name , Address, Age ! Ask if I could me in their offices? They said no! Me at residence only! This is a Scam that targets older home owners for insurance or something. This number should be blocked according to FCC do not call list.
robo call, caller id shows american express. American express said not their number. also get call from 1-623-492-8037 for american express and 1-623-492-1073 name shows at 6025379012 with first call at different times during the day. ongoing for at least a month.
The number is for National Credit Management. If you call the number back, you get an automated voice system that does not tell you who you called, just asks you to dial an extension if you know one, or wait for someone to answer. It then talks about making a payment to your account. When you actually get to talk to someone, he/she is very evasive about answering questions about who they work for ("It depends..."). My federal student loans were consolidated in October, with a new loan servicer of Great Lakes, so no one else should be calling me. Due to my low income, my current student loan payment is $0 (ZERO dollars) under the Income-Based Repayment Plan. Please note that you do NOT have to make several payments first before you can qualify to consolidate your federal student loans.
