Claimed to be from local utility PEPCO. Said we must pay $300 to prevent power shut-off
Claimed to be from local utility. Said we must call a number to prevent shut-off
I got a call from them 3 times, saying that I had a purchase at a Best buy in Georgia. I have never had this bank. They then mentioned my Verizon account, and I said I do not have Verizon, I have ATT. They then asked for my ATT username, to "verify" they were speaking to me. Total scam, very unsettling
