I got a letter from an organization called "Departamento de Programa Pandemico" offering me to help me reducing my Electricity bill because of the pandemic and gave me information about my "case" and how to contact them on this number, which is owned by someone else. This sounds to me like an scam. Letter is dated in Nov 9, 2020. I also live in Texas.
Said my social security number had been frozen. Obvious fake robot call. It in no way sounds legit.. hope this helps someone. The call block feature is used by me often. I get these all the time
They left a voicemail - stating "call before we begin with the legal proceedings against you". Ridiculous marketing ploy and predatory for people out there who get scared into calling. UNACCEPTABLE

my mother received a letter from "programa latino de asistencia" (https://www.programalatino.org/contactenos) offering to help reduce the electric bill up to 2,400- they also talked about solar panels. i think its just a scam to get people to buy solar panels.
