Flood warning, however I live in the desert. no location, date or time given, This number is blocked on my phone, however warning messages still arrive.
When I got a call today from this number is said it was an incoming call from Grayson County Jail. I didn't answer it...# is blocked now.
Said his name was Aussie, using fake accent, calling re: fraud report
Came in as a severe storm in your area. If you call the number back, there is an option to opt out of further notifications.
Call came in at 9:25 PM. Told of a Severe Thunderstorm Warning. We live in the High Desert of California. No storms, just high heat.
DO NOT RESPOND!!! THEY ARE A FRAUD COMPANY TRYING TO SCAM YOU AND YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY. IF THIS IS ACTUALLY THE SOCIAL SECURITY DEPARTMENT THEY WOULD NEVER CALL YOU, THEY WOULD SEND YOU A CERTIFIED LETTER IN THE MAIL!!
don't know if this is a scam, but they said they were going to charge me for computer services that end after 24 months for a renewal; and that if I don't want them to charge to call 800-566-0597. I wish I hadn't answered, so that I could have recorded it, so this info is not verbatim. I tried to call, but it clicks and hangs up immediately.

Call from 876-2024537. Man said I won third place in publishers clearing house. $7,000 wk for life and additional $380,000. Said I must buy an American Express VISA to start receiving funds. I told him I had to think about it. To accept I must call David Hale at number 814-476-8459. I DID NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFO. JUST WANTED TO ADVISE OF THIS SCAM.
