Pretending to be Puget Sound Energy and will turn off power because of unpaid bill. Told to call 800-610-4460. Came in under # 425-950-8058
the number comes in at (425) 583-5456 (425) 548-3849 and tells you your power will be cut off. they ask you to call back on a 800-610-4460 800-680-5835...Basically anything Puget Sound Energy calling you is a scam Fraud.
Pretending to be Seattle City light threatening to shut power off in 30 minutes.
I didn’t pick up the call because the caller ID said Unknown. Computer voicemail was left saying my power would be shut off - again and to call Puget Sound Energy at 800-610-4460. Power has never been shut off, I knew at the very least it wasn’t us and was likely a scam. Didn’t call the number back.

Claimed to be PSE on missing payments. Questioned their authenticity and hung up.
Robocall informs you that your power will be shut off - claims that it is PSE. When you call, they correctly identify your address so it seems that it is PSE. Strangely they called by cell phone, which I don't believe is identified with my home address. They told me that I owed almost 800 for non-payment for 90 days. I asked them if there was late fees, and they said 45, I asked them to waive it and they said 755. I was so stupid, I was ready to offer them my checking account information, followed by my credit card. Fortunately, they said they could take neither (claiming that I had to pay within 24 hours). They told me to go to Rite Aid and purchase utility credit. One for 500 and one for 255, then call back "John Silva" at x1002 at 8006104460. Fortunately my wife checked our bank account and we had paid PSE. Scary scam, and I'm sure others have been tricked.
