Spoofed calls and letters for auto warranty scam. This is a continuous annoyance. If I get a spoofed number call, I ask random questions about their coverage or where they are calling me from. They will tell you they are calling from "corporate", or another lie. I like to wast their time. Real parasites
Received a "Final Notice" containing this phone number from an unnamed company. The heading was "2017 Toyota - Official Business." Yeah, MONKEY BUSINESS!
Received a letter with final notice on it for my vehicle I just bought about additional coverage there is no company name on it at all.
scammers trying to get you to pay a no legit bill
I know someone who received a fake alert on a device saying to call this number: 18006742946 and that their device was "BLOCKED". It appeared on a browser and it told them to not ignore the alert and that if the page was closed, access will be disabled to prevent further damage to the network.... egh. Do not call the number. If you are ever concerned that the device manufacturer has issue with something, look up their contact information and call them. Never call a number that is listed on a message.
