I gotta call back from TP-Link to set up my WI. Fi. Extender. He took over my computer screen and. said that someone was trying to get on to my network. Then he wanted a $150 a year to supply a firewall that he claimed would prevent that. I told him I would just reset my router and then he just hung up and never did help me set up my extender.
signed up for antivirus after I had my netgear extender fixed through this number. Spoke with a gentleman named Joseph. Took my money, but they won't send me the product key that I purchased. He said they needed to install it remotely. when I said no, they said they would send it in an email which they never have and now they won't return my phone calls.
I spoke to someone named Joseph at the same number. He wanted to sell me network protection and gave me a demo. He did get my netgear router set up. I told him I need to talk with someone before purchasing anything.
Contacted netgear support. They gave me a call back from this number. Remotely went on my computer without my permission. Asked what they were doing!! And they hung up. I reported to Netgear but they didn't care.
Your advertisemen is not truthful. I called and was told my monthly fee was $27 and change. I said I had a land line. My bill is $52 something a month. My technician was great. When I signed my billing installation I was floored. Double the cost. Your phone Representative mislead me. My whole house would have been covered for $58.00 a month. Protection One is only $35.00 for the same protection. I was told $99.00 for installation, I was billed $107.00. However that would be covered with $100.00 gift card. Oh no! Only when I mail in the paperwork to get my gift card I must write a check for an additional $4.95 to cover shipping for a credit card that can be sent in an envelope, Really? Total false advertising and misleading promises. Fraudulent. I have 3 days to cancel and that will happen. There security system is good. But the lies, lies lies and gift card does not cost me an additional $4.95 to be sent by mail. Come Monday you will be taking your system out. How dare You! Now I get a bill today for $62.00. Scam artist. Do not use this company.
