Got an email that Norton was charging my credit card for protection. When I called the number to cancel but they couldn't tell me how they got my name, email and credit card number, then he asked me to open Google Chome and what kind of computer I had. He should have known what computer I had if I had signed up for this. I hung up. This appears to be a scam. Here is the email: Dear Member, ^^Your Subscription for %#_NORTON Protection has been successfully renewed and updated^^ The Debited Amount will be reflected within the Next 24 to 48 HRS on your A/C statement _ PRODUCT INFORMATION_ Invoice Number : PWNF-8267982317-964823178564317 Product Name : NORTON#365 Order Date : MAY 21, 2021 Expiration Date : 1 Year from the Date of Purchase Price : $368.75 USD Payment Method : Auto Renewal **If you wish to cancel this subscription then please feel free to contact our Billing Department As Possible** You can reach us at +1 (800) 720-1452 Regards, Billing Department
Got an email stating that my purchase has been successfully done. $419.99 for McAfee protection for 2 yrs. If I think someone else has placed this order then to call this 800# for McAfee global support. The clinker is.....the email was not from McAfee, it gives a name of Agustin Williams....What a dim wit
I Rcvd a voicemail that stated the following: "For the recent order of iPhone 11 on your Amazon account. If you do not authorize this payment call us back if you authorized simply, press one. Thank you." SCAM as I never ordered from Amazon nor is this Amazon's phone number! (800) 720-1452 So sick of these pigs!!!! ????????
Got a call from it, Verizon marked it as possibly a “junk” call and my iPhone silenced it automatically
Got a call from 800 720 1452 Caller said he was calling to inquire if I had made a credit card purchase from Amazon for a $731 iPhone? I said NO and asked what credit was used to attempt this purchase. He said he didn't that info, but said it was a VISA and he gave my correct mailing address. It was hard to comprehend beyond that because he spoke with a foreign accent and the phone line extremely poor quality (+ a lot of static). I hung up.
