I received a suspicious email from 'Netflix' too - to 'Reset my password' and 'review recent account access for unusual activity'. I don't have a Netflix account! Had 'Netflix Entretenimento Brasil, Ltda.' at the bottom of the email which was also a bit weird. I reported the email to Netflix using their Phishing email address that I found on their website...not by clicking through on the email!!
This number was on an email, sent from Anna. It looks as it is from Netflix, but my email was NEVER set up for an account with Netflix. Be aware please.
Netflix setup scam
Exactly the same as above. Email wanting to finish setting up my Netflix account. I didn't ever START setting up my account.
Was not a call, but rather a suspicious Netflix e-mail. Someone created an account using my e-mail address, so I commandeered it using their forgot password feature. The original e-mail said: Hey there, My name is Anna. I work at Netflix and help our newest members get started. If you’d like to chat before you start your subscription, you can call 0800-761-4632 with any questions. Also, there’s a bunch of information in our Help Center, including answers to common questions about how Netflix works. If you’re all set, finish your account setup to start watching. If there’s anything you need help with, don’t hesitate to contact us.
