Just received call from @ 11:50PST LA DWP scam. "Turn off water/power in 30 minutes unless paid". SCAM SCAM SCAM!

Computerized call pretending to be from my electric utility company (gave accurate company name!) that my service was to be disconnected due to non-payment. Gave call back number 800-610-8310, which is not their number. My electric company says they did not call me.

Got a call this afternoon from someone struggling to speak English to advise me I qualify for a brace. I don't need a brace. I'm a nurse and my elderly patients get these scam calls all the time. Unfortunately they often buy into it.
My 78 year old Mother got a call this morning telling her she was the only person left at her apartment complex... Scared her and I'm pissed!!!!!
Sales call to number listed on Do Not Call registry. Recorded message advised me of unsolicted help in resolving my debt to IRS. I have no debt with IRS.
