caller stated they were from Chase fraud dept and someone was trying to use my Zelkle account did I recognize it. Then they sent me to Zelle to give the cancelation numbers and case id, provided. That dept wanted me to add their manager as a payee so he could access the account to stop the payments. That is when the red flag went up. NO way.. S0 he transferred me back to the bank who said google the number youll see it s Chase but it did not. Thankfully then he hung up on me.. Be watre of 800 callers!

Caller claimed someone in California opened an account in my name using my phone number and address. My first inkling that it was a bogus call and not from Chase was that the caller began the call with "Un, yeah..." and when I asked questions, he made me feel as if my questions were stupid and not worth an answer, or I already had an answer. This was certainly NOT a representative of J. P. Morgan Chase!!!!
