Rep at this number (800-888-2020) said he was authorized to sell AT&T, described a very good package of 3 services and a low price, so I signed up. He said the only initial charge would be $21.77 charged to my Amex #, which I gave him. He did have the power to create an AT&T account and to order installation, because I received emails from AT&T confirming my order and the installation date, but the email listed only 2 services, not 3. When I called AT&T directly at a similar #, 800-288-2020, they said they had the order but did not have the name of the rep that I gave them and did not have the pricing and service bundle that I had been promised. In short, this appears to be a scam operation that took my credit card number and did charge my account for the correct amount in the name of AT&T, but now has my credit card information. Two conclusions: Never call this number, and two, be way of AT&T if they are allowing this middleman company to place actual orders in their name and send those orders through the AT&T system, while collecting customer credit card numbers.
