Same here, but one call came from this number to me yesterday, plus I got another call yesterday that “came from” ME!!! My first name and my phone number showed up on my caller ID! I t startled me, and I answered the call. Even before I could say hello there was a recording playing that said my Verizon account had just been deactivated or terminated. Since I had, literally, just paid my Verizon bill less than ten minutes prior to the call, I hung up immediately, then called Verizon, who assured me that my account balance was zero dollars and was in perfect standing with them. The customer service rep said that this was a newer very troublesome scam, and that I had done the right thing by hanging up. DO NOT ANSWER ANY CALL THAT HAS YOUR OWN NAME AND NUMBER ON YOUR CALLER ID!
They keep saying they are Verizon Wireless and your account has been suspended. This is not a Verizon Wireless 800 number do not give any information.
