Stated my number was an emergency contact for someone I don’t know.
caller said they were looking for my wife in regards to bad checks, the name they had was her last married name which she has not had now in almost 6 yrs,and plus we don't write checks anymore either,,so got very rude with them and hung up,lets see if there stupid enough to call again.
Threatened an arrest warrant IF we do not pay $1,000.00 w/in 1 hour (I hung up on them).
They threatened they are part of the United States government and they want you to answer questions. I just hung up
Stating listed as an emergency contact. Then states going to have Summons to appear. Still won't identify. Do want you to say YES this is me or yes I know this party. I told them it's fraud to not identify whom they are and who with. Then if you stay on phone they will say that you can avoid court appearance if you pay x y z amount. Again no no no tell them to have police officer inform you. Hang up hang up They will call anyone and everyone you know. Even x relatives Calling from phone number 801 239 2406
