They called asking for personal information. When I asked where she was calling from she stated she couldn’t give me that information unless I confirmed my birth date that’s when I hung up. These people are scammers

A female from this number called my phone requesting personal information. She would not clearly state where she was calling from. She said it was regarding something in collections (untrue because I have nothing past due or in collections. I constantly check the credit bureaus.). I asked on behalf of what company; she refused to tell me unless I gave her personal information. I advised her that she would need to send correspondence by mail because I was not giving my personal information over the phone. She scoffed, and got an attitude, then I disconnected the call.
