Caller ID read Woods Ranch, a BBQ restaurant franchise. Upon answering, I was told by a recorded voice that my card had just been charged for $299.99 for internet support for the next three years. I hung up and Googled "Woods Ranch, then confirmed what I already knew when I answered the phone: SCAM!!
Called representing a Heating and Cooling company. I asked how they got our number and was told it was on a list. I asked to be taken off the list and they hung up on me.
This Simi Valley VOIP number attempted another unlawful contact today, 5 months after the first attempt last August. When the answering machine picked up, there was again dead silence before the disconnect. Since robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) do this all the time, it's best to LET YOUR ANSWERING DEVICE TAKE THEIR PATHETIC CALLS.
I block a number and the next time they call switching around the digits nothing works to stop them. I am on the Do Not Call list and it doesn't matter. Annoying. We don't answer numbers we don't recognize. We are on the do not call list. Doesn't seem to make any difference anymore.,Calls daily hang up before answering machine turns on .annoying wish they would stop calling or at least have the courtesy, to leave a message this particular only rang once before being disconnected.

I've been receiving repeated calls from this number with no messages ever left on voicemail. I suspect it could be personal harassment from a domestic abuser, but there is no way for me to track the user as it does appear that these are robocalls.
