Received email stating they have my bank account and charged it 299.00
This number called me 4 times within an hour and a half. They claimed that I had a charge of $729 on my Amazon account which appeared suspicious and to dial 1. The third time, I did dial 1. I heard a foreign language for 2 seconds, literally. Then they hung up. Last time I bought anything through Amazon was maybe 6 years ago. I have no account with Amazon.
Received an email saying a subscription for McAfee web security was charging me for subscription I never had, called this number(from email) they asked for dual screen access to my computer and repeatedly asked me to login my bank account, they hung when I refused and then called me back several times
Today, 7/29/21 I received an email listing this phone number: (805) 472-4787 from this email address: McAfee stating they were going to change $230.00 to my checking account on 7/29/21. I had McAfee on my computer for about 1 year in 1998 & I do not have McAfee on my computer now and I never signed up for McAfee since removing from my computer in 1998. I believe this is a SCAM but wanted to notify you of this issue. Dolores Moore
