called multiple times one minute apart. Finally left a voicemail saying it was Superior Court of Ventura. It sounds official when I called it, but it was for someone else.
It's the Neptune Society trying to talk you into being cremated. Once you've attended one of their presentations, that opens the door for calls from aggressive salesmen. One strategy may be to tell them that you've signed up with a different mortuary and that they should stop calling.
