A senior citizen was scammed out of $300 to pay for phony Windows 10 support from a company called PC Tech. Unbeknownst to her, they installed remote keyboard and mouse access on her computer and then months later, they used it to generate a fake blue screen (BSOD) to lock her out of her computer. 1-810-270-5077 showed up on the BSOD, advising her to call for help. If she had called the number, she would have probably been scammed out of more money to "fix" the issue.
