I'm not an Amazon Prime customer and have no account with them. I reviewed my checking and credit card accounts and found no such transactions on file. I also called my bank and credit card company right away and informed them.
"Thank you for your order the amount of $175 was successfully charged today from our account which is on our file for the renewal of antivirus on your computer for next one year for more information or for refund please call us on 810-433-4115"
Fake Amazon call to inform me of a $300.00 debit for Prime membership. A request for refund resulted in installation of malicious software and a fake deposit of $800 to my checking account. After which I was informed that Amazon made a mistake and requested a gift card for $500 to fix the problem.
TOTAL SCAM/FRAUD!! They left a voicemail that said. "Thank you for your order the amount of $175 was successfully charged today from our account which is on our file for the renewal of antivirus on your computer for next one year for more information or for refund please call us on 810-433-4115. We are so sick of these scumbags! Punishments need to be so severe & publicized that they stop.

Phone did not ring and no missed call, but a voice message appeared. Message content was: Electronic voice stating that a renewed antivirus update for $175.00 had been charged to the credit card they had on file, if I had any questions or wanted a refund to call this number. I looked up the number first...SCAM.
