This man leaves a clear message that "I'm a real estate investor, I am not a realtor, and I would like to m ake a CASH offer on your home." His voice is easily recognizable again though he does not give his name. He left a voicemail on my cell phone on Friday, but I was very busy and did not get it until Sunday. I called the number and he answered, and I said how did you get my number and he immediately asked, "do you want to sell your home?" Why would he ask that if it wasn't him who made such a call? I asked him over and over how he got my number, which I am extremely curious about. He then said it was the wrong number. Bull. These people are harassing homeowners in areas and I doubt they'd even be solvent enough to buy anyone's home. It is pure scam, they get people's phone numbers probably mostly women's. When I ran the number back through my voicemail, it said it came from 727-282-8436, which is a Pinellas county exchange. However here it says Tampa, Valrico. People can get phone numbers listed from anywhere and then start calling whoever, being very misleading. I am tired of these types of calls and I am also filing a complaint with the FCC. Hillsborough County's Association of Realtors should be also very interested in this because it gives legitimate real estate brokers and the agents who work for them a bad name.
