Just called telling me if I have any questions I should reach out to them. Never used their company before. He knew my name.
Got a call and voicemail from this number but I have never bought anything from Guitar Center, nor do I live in Illinois. Can't tell if this is a legit sales/telemarketer call from a Guitar Center, or a scam.
Call ID said “Guitar Center” from Malta, IL but sales guy, “Kiefer,” Id’d himself as being with Musician’s Friend on the voicemail he left. I know GC owns MF but they supposedly keep the brands separate. This just felt weird, especially because I don’t remember the last time I ordered from MF and I’ve never been to Malta, IL, much less the GC there.
Guitar Center sales call. Last purchase was literal years ago. This is why I try not to give out my number when buying stuff lol. Guy on the other end was gracious enough to take me off the list.
Called me today from the number listed on this post and left a message: “Hi [my name], this is Bryce, your gear advisor here at Guitar Center. I just wanted to check in on you to see if you needed any assistance processing your next order. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me here at (844) 992-3728 at extension 3300. Again, my name is Bruce and I can be reached at (844) 992-3728 at extension 3300. Have a great day.”
Call about Guitar Center sale from guy named Clinton. I am a guitar center shopper.
Claimed to be Musician's Friend. I have never purchased anything from this company.
