new scam claiming to be fraud prevention for EBAY, also claims 818 is toll free which it is not.
Claimed to be HP technical support. Setting up my printer service, accessed my computer with out my permission. Started digging in files, I shut my computer off before they started to access my files. The support number that I called went to this number.
Caller said they were from Amazon and account was compromised. Gave me a number to call. Contacted Amazon customer service and they indicated they never tried to contact me.
Frozen my computer - Said they were Microsoft - so I paid $200.00 for a program to unfreeze it and help with my computer. Well shortly after that I was hacked --- now if they help he they want another $300.00 I don't have that kind of money so I need help........what do they do for the $200.00??????
These "people" called 4 CONSECUTIVE TIMES IN LESS THAN 3 MINUTES! I HUNG UP ON THE FIRST, DECLINED THE REST AND ON THE FOURTH I GOT PISSED AND TOLD THEM NOT TO CALL OR I'D REPORT THEM...

Scam - text messages say "AMAZON - my credit card number (no number provided" has been debited $1099.00 - to cance the order, call this number - 1-818-824-6053. FYI - I have not ordered anything from Amazon in past 90 days and my actual credit card does not have pending charges. When I called the number, they tried to social engineer me into providing all of my personal data and asked for my full credit card number "to help me" - FRAUD!!! BLOCK THIS NUMBER
