Got a call from a local number, pretending to be amazon reporting fraud, knew a lot about me but I got nervous when they asked me to go to a team viewer website so they could get access to my computer. NO THANK YOU! If they call you, RUN! The "order" they said had occurred was not reflected on my account which was another flag
Received robocall indicating use on my Amazon CC in Texas. Connected to live person and confirmed that purchase was not mine. Refused to log on so they could "help" me safeguard my computer and questioned why they would be offering that service if their purpose was to provide potential fraud alerts. Asked for call back number and was given 830-392-0393. Found this site and info and confirmed that my suspicion was well founded.

Claimed to be Amazon security... HANG UP ON THIS SCAM!!!
Claiming to be calling for AMAZON.com Claimed I had unlawful charges in my account and needed information. I told them to give me a number to call them back on BUT then called AMAZON directly and gave THEM the scam information. Changed my password and hope I'm done.
