Got a text from this phone number, claiming to be a law office ; asking to pay or show up to the police department; I opted to call the police department and asked if any of this was true; and no it was not. This for sure is some kind of scam. They are asking for money and if not almost threatened to one to get ready for a lawsuit and be convicted of minor charges.
