i GOT A CALL ABOUT A DEBT I PD OFF 16 YRS AGO. iT WAS A 500 DOLLAR CARD. tHEY SAID I OWED 8, 124 AND WANTED TO SERVE ME PAPERS AND WERE SUING ME, ETC.
Called my mom and asked for me. My mom said they had the wrong number. The lady (and in this case NOT) asked if my mom knew me. My mom said she wasn't yelling her anything. The female got made and said tell her there is impeding legal action. My questions. Is for what? I have only 1 payment a few days behind. Otherwise total BS and scam call!
They are calling my daughter and asking for personal information. She is 19. They told her I had put her as a reference. I do not have my children as references and I do not know who this people are or what they want. I am fuming!!!
Multiple calls received as "Debt Collector" for unknown person in household
I got a call from this number and they’re telling me that they’re compliance officers and that there’s a summons for my father for a legal claim against him and that he needs to get ahold of them.
SCAM!!! Received 2 text back to back from this number. First was a welcome to SMS messages from Square. The second was a receipt from a company several states away. Checked bank account and no transactions for this company. Total scam. DO NOT CLICK THE LINK!!
I received a text with a squareup.com link to a receipt from a small business where I had just paid with a credit card. The business had a terminal that looked like an iPad with a card reader. I was given the option of getting a receipt by email, text, or printed, I chose text and entered my mobile phone number. Presumably the receipts people receive from businesses they did not go to are due to people entering the wrong phone number. I doubt Square is scamming or spamming anyone’s phone number. If they did no business would use their terminals. Though someone could spoof Square’s number. So don’t open the link if you haven’t just been to the business named in the text. But if you block the phone number, remember you can’t get a receipt by text from any business using Square terminals.
this is a scam. i got 2 text back to back from Tokyo Grille and Q nails. I checked my bank account first and nothing.. this is def fraud!!! block and delete.

I got several texts from this number saying I had receipts for purchases from a company called Suareup.com. I contacted these people and they said I do not have an account number with them. I think this is a phishing thing.
