They called on a Saturday ... several times every hour or so They knew my partner's name (under the same health insurance Tufts...) and gave an callback ID. When we called back, the amount of information required was suspicous. SCAM very likely.
Just got 4 calls from this number this afternoon, last one left a message asking me to call back and reference a phone call authorization number. I was confused as I am waiting for an authorization. But i searched here as it felt odd. Robot female voice.
Female voice recording, knew full name and health care plan. Left a reference code via voicemail and requested a call back for an urgent change to health insurance plan. Called the number back, recording picks up and asks if it's me (full name) wants me to say "Yes," or "No." Hung up this call, called my health insurance directly, they said no one called me. 2nd time the scam number called, I picked up and it was the same female voice recording prompting me to ID myself with a "Yes," or "No." SCAM LIKELY!!!
Called five times in two hours. Never left a message, told me to call back re: my health care plan (which they did have the correct name of) when I answered and said that I was unavailable. Ughhhh.
I got three calls from this number in two hours. They never left a voicemail and I did not answer the call. The caller ID location said United States. I googled the number and found this site. Then I blocked the number. I do have Tufts Health Care, as someone else mentioned in an above post. Not sure if it is relevant to me receiving this call.
Automated message. Knew my name and health plan. Said it was urgent. Gave a call back authorization code. Called my actual insurer and they knew nothing about it. SCAM.
I was also called multiple times by this number, each time leaving a voicemail saying that they were with my health insurance company and that I needed to call back - with authorization code also left in message - to fix an issue with my account. funny thing is that I changed my insurance plan on Wednesday and today it finalized. I was on the phone with my new plan's customer service rep verifying coverage when that scam number beeped in. Not even maybe one minute after the new insurance company verified my coverage was when I then received a customized recording/robocall voicemail saying there was an issue with my old plan, please call to sort things out. And to "please be ready with bday, SSN, and member ID number" the second time that I was called by them was around 730pm, and the robot in the voicemail said I needed to call back as soon as I hear the message. At 730....AT NIGHT! If I call my insurance (Tufts) at 5:01pm they're closed. Always, no exceptions. Now I am being asked to call back anytime that works for me? Huh?! Not before 430pm?! Haha, good one. My guess...the people being the scammers most likely hail from the Western coast of a big ole continent that I'd venture to guess 1:5 Americans think is a country.

Got a scam call from this number. They called and left a message pretending to be my health insurance, tufts. They left a code on my answering machine. I called back and confirmed the verification code from the voicemail with them. They said they were having technical difficulties and the call was ended. Def suspicious though
