Rec'd. post card in mail today indicating a service notification, to contact to update protection on 2018 vehicle. I'm still covered by factory warrenty. Assholes. Scam.
Received the same thing in MI for our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. “By neglecting to update your protection program you will be responsible for paying all repairs out of pocket.”
Car warranty scam / fraud. Claims to be the car manufacturer calling to update your warranty (which manufacturer?) and if you don't update your credit card information your brand new 2020 car that you bough last week and has 12 total miles on it will not be covered under the manufacturer's warranty and you will have to pay out of pocket for any warranty repairs.
Keep getting letters in the mail with this phone number, stating I have to 'update my warranty'

This is a scam with a post card from "MOTOR VEHICLE SERVICE NOTIFICATION" asking you to call this number "1-833-324-5940". They just try to get you to buy their ridiculous car maintenance program. The give-away is they never have the address of the dealer where you bought your car from. They got your car info from some official site like the property tax office or the Dept of Motor Vehicle, but that does not have info on where you bought your car.
