A text came saying that " Your card was charged a purchase for a $2189.00 for Sony 75 inch LED Smart HD TV order id RDG0422KNG at Amazon on < todays date> Feb 4... PLEASE CONTACT US on 833-530-2442 if YOU NOT.. When I called, person answered as an Amazon rep. I or Amazon must have been hacked b/c they had all my info. Address, last 4 digits of 4 card numbers, and they even knew my actual last purchases. Told me other purchases had been made. An ipad over $1000 and attempts from countries around the world. Told 'hackers' tried to change my password. Actually THEY were the ones! Seemed very legit at first...however, I know realize that they keep you on the phone to wear you down...was on the phone for over 2 hrs and taken little baby steps at a time...always an "I'll walk you through it". I knew I'd been scammed, and was truly exhausted l. Then told me to stay by the phone b/c someone from "Amazon security/fraud" would be calling. 20 minutes later a woman called, after acknowledging my issue, told me I must go back to the store and purchase 2 more cards! (By the way, the cards he BS's me into getting, told/texted/emailed about were $500 apiece.
