"Tracey Kennedy" keeps calling parents house for my husband wanting him to call her back at 8339322531. Something involving legal claims with name and social and involving family and friends.
I rented a car from Hertz 03-21 that had prior damage. I always take pictures before i leave the lot. I noted damage to the person when I returned the car. I started to receive calls telling me to call and settle up on the damage When I call back i get an on-hold message sounding very professional from Hertz. SCAM!
I screened the call and he said "My name is Chad Minor and I am calling with Hertz ". As I had recently rented with Hertz and had some issues with prior damage, I picked up the call and he wanted payment for $1600. I told him that I would call the Hertz rental location and asked him for the direct number, he told me to look it up on the internet. I hung up, called Hertz, they were not aware of anything.
Yes. Claimed to be Hertz Rental Car and stated damages where due for a rental from five months. Seemed to have some basic information about a past rental, but was fuzzy on details and sought about a $900 credit card payment. Got angry when I said I was calling Hertz directly.
