Just received a text saying "Reminder from Spectrum that your bill is due," and to call that number. I haven't lived in NY in 4 years, and I have never been a Spectrum customer.
Got a text from 623-254-4751 saying Anthem says you may qualify for a no cost health and wellness program call 844-206-3728 to get started.
Caller ID indicates “Performant” supposedly a debt collector for IRS but the number DOES NOT MATCH the number posted at IRS. https://www.irs.gov/businesses/small-businesses-self-employed/private-debt-collection SCAMMERS pretend to be anything they can think of these days.
844-206-7853 - wont leave a message or say what its about - just says its a recorded line. seems like a scam
I got a text from 844-206-8565 (in New York) telling me my Spectrum payment is due. Odd, since I do not have Spectrum. F'n scumbag scammers.
Got a call from 844-206-7853 attempting to collect an outstanding IRS debt. When I asked caller for 'case' information, since as far as I am aware, IRS always communicates via USPS mail in these cases, she hung up. SCAM....
It's Spectrum and they are calling for someone else. They will not stop calling despite my emailing Spectrum themselves. I'm also on the Do Not Call list.
