Indian guy claimed to be from Comcast. Asked for sensitive account information based upon account issues we were having. Scam- please DO NOT give out any information!
had a call from Comcast, as I have an appointment tomorrow, I thought this was a confirmation. The call was lost, so I return called this number. The individual said he had fixed my issue and I no longer needed the appointment. I confirmed the issue still exists and told them the appointment tomorrow with handle it. The person was insistent that I go over it all again with him and recheck my computer, and continued to attempt to cancel my appointment, and deflect my wish to continue with the appointment. Clearly they lied and work by manipulation in order to make his quota to cancel upcoming appointments which are likely overwhelmed due to volume and COVID. I called customer service to complain, and escalate, however all they were able to do was make a note in my account, and confirm that a call had been made.
Said they were calling on behalf of a private detective. Left a detailed message trying to intimidate to call them back.
Some indian guy saying he was with comcast Asked for someone not me and when i said “thats not me” he said who am i speaking to then and I hung up.
They say "This is John Klein and we have been trying to reach you and now see we cannot reach you so we will be forwarding documentation to the courthouse and we could get a judgement against you..."
I keep getting this call over and over, never answer it. They say they have certified documents that were not confirmed as delivered and they need my address to verify within 48 hours. I just don't believe this is legitimate.
Call threatened legal papers need to be delivered. Didn't use my name and wouldn't they have my address if they were legit?
Claming to be Comcast. Not a Comcast number per Comcast. Tried to get me to log into my computer and change settings.

The text message from 844-249-0718 says "Let's talk. We may be able to help you. Call now at 8442490718. Msg rates may apply: Synchrony Bank. To opt out reply STOP." This must be a scam. There's no reason this bank would text me like this.
