I'm in Alabama. Got a call today stating that it was Comcast wanting to set a service call to check my equipment and if I didn't have them come I may end up with service interruptions. When I signed on with comcast they mailed me the equipment and all checks on my service has been remote. Totally sounds like a scam.
Allied numerous times saying I had an open appt. scheduled. Tried to get me to schedule a service call when I called. Didn’t make one, seemed like a scam.
I also received two robocalls purporting to be from Xfinity/Comcast about an "open service order". Interestingly enough, it was the day AFTER I had a real Comcast tech fixing an issue. I am also in Tennessee. Thankfully, I check on calls like that before I return them. Thanks for having a place to report this stuff.
Rec'd this call about a week after my latest call to Comcast over a period of the past month or so to reset my modem.Also noticed and talked with a service person outside the home last week "checking the lines" and "doing "routine maintenance".. I called the number and connected with what sounded like the call center I worked with to resolve my connection issues. I asked them for the address on file and they had the correct address and acct # associated with my phone # as well as the record of my previous service calls. I set an appt but will thoroughly check out ids when they arrive.
Repeated calls to make an appointment to check my equipment. My equipment is fine. Feel like it’s a scam to come sell me on a different service. No thanks. I’ve blocked the number.
They're claiming to be a comcast stating I have to make an appointment so they can check my equipment. In which my equipment is fine. I refuse to give out any information, especially when they want my home address.

I have been getting numerous calls frm 844-251 3974 telling me there maybe issues and they want to check my equipment. I told them no way! I have a Pitbull and I have no issues with my service. I googled and look what I found. Numerous complaints.
