I received a robo call saying they were going to refund me $300 and to call 844-262-4017. I called number back and Indian speaking fellow said I was due a refund for computer software I purchased in November 2018 and "didn't I want my refund?" I kept asking questions about the software, company & etc and told them I didn't purchase software or any computer protection plan because that comes automatically with my internet provider.. so he said "goodbye" and hung up. Be wary, very wary!!! I know if spent that much money. I keep receipts.

Just got a call too. I HATE scammers so I called back and asked what company this was and Maxwell hung up. So I called back and asked again and he said Windows. I told him I didn't have Windows or a bank account associated with any Windows & the guy stated "You live in America"? I asked for a supervisor & address so I could properly file a fraud complaint with police & they used some foul language. Both men had Indian accents. I filed a complaint.

844-262-4017 Received a call from this number stating they were going to charge me $299 for Global Support from a Joel Hdbar and that they could not cancel it without me being in front of my computer. I told him he was crazy to think that I would pay for something that I did not order. They said I paid for it when I purchased my computer and that my security software for my computer was expired and told me I needed to renew. I told him I wished NOT to renew and did not do business with people who wished to control my computer.

Repeated calls with voice message about if dissatisfied with service, please call and we will give you a refund. Didn't say what the service is.

I think this call is a trick to get your bank account information and/or credit card details. Please do not fall for it.

Refund fraud

Rob voice said we had been charged $299.99 but if we weren't happy with the purchase we could call a different number and request a refund. Definitely a scam to get bank or credit card info.

I missed the call but they left a message. A recorded voice said "the company has shut down. Please call 844-262-4017"

They claim you ordered something off the computer and are owed a refund. I think it is a trick to get your bank account number and/or credit card number.

Don't answer this call. No business name given just threats. BEWARE!!!!
