Got unwanted call from 844-413-3774?
This is a money-making scam. They are using robocalls to contact vulnerable patients, then pestering providers to write prescriptions for unnecessary products. Most busy providers just sign the prescriptions and move on. Unfortunately, patients think they are getting free medication, not realizing Medicare is bearing the brunt of the costs. These costs eventually get passed on to consumers in the form of higher premiums and fewer eligible services. I have received at least three requests from three different pharmacies, but all with this same Florida phone number. This company's sole purpose is to roll out a massive volume of robocalls for multiple cooperating pharmacies (who by their participation in these programs makes them equally repulsive), then harass providers to write prescriptions for unnecessary medications. They use terms like "mutual patient" to make it appear as if they have an actual patient-provider relationship. They use terms like "urgent" to trick providers into thinking the prescription is actually important. I am sick and tired of my valuable time being wasted by the scammers who try to make a buck by getting me to donate my time to a nonexistent problem.
