Received a text message stating $1735 will be deducted from my account
Did not answer and no message was left. Number had a +1 in front of it. The formats listed below show International call. Definitely scam.
A man from a foreign call center attempted to say he was with the social security administration and demanded personal information from me.
was threatened with legal action if i did not verify my personal information. also that my social security number was going to be suspended due to illegal activity
I was a basic social security scam, someone in a very thick accent asked me my name and told me that I needed to stop my "illegal activities" or legal action would be taken against my social security number. They asked me if the local police have contacted me and I told them no, and asked what were the charges against me they started to panic. I politely asked to know what the US government was going to charge me with and they abruptly hung up.

yes received a text message on April 11 saying $1680 will be deducted from my "card" for some sort of audio equipment, with a number to call. No charges on my "card" have appeared.
