Caller display displayed call from T-Mobile but I assumed robocall from "your auto warranty has expired...", which I continually receive with spoofed caller ID names & telephone numbers. I didn't answer the call but blocked the number.
I got mail with a notice listing this number to call for questions regarding a student loan that is falsely reporting on my credit report. They claim to be Wells Fargo but I'm pretty sure it's a scam. My loan was paid in full and closed five years ago and whoever they are, keep sending me letters with "changed account numbers." The scary thing is, they are somehow getting their false payment info on Equifax and Experian.
Told me to press 1 to speak with a rep. I did, they proceeded to tell me that someone had a civic judgment filed against me out of an old town I lived in. When he proceeded to verify information - I hung up. Looked up the number and it said it has already been reported as a fraudulent spam number.
scammer call....never leaves messages. calls several times a day The calls are suspected to be coming from India. They are using tax and other issues to scam people so please be warned.
I've received calls from 844-576-0935, but I never answer them. I don't know why I'd be getting calls from a fried chicken place in Florida.
