This is an scam text and phone number , this is not Bank of America
WRONG! This us a valid number for BOA when your ATM is suspected of improper use. They send a text with that number, or you can call the number on the back of your ATM if you did not lose it.
The phone number came to me through email saying it was Bank of America fraud dept. If you call it back it asks for the same information Bank of America asks for. Do not give them information. Hang up and call the number on the back of your debit card.
BOA scam. I called the real number on back of card and found out I had 3 charges on BOA account I know nothing about. Account closed by BOA. Also Got a TEX wanting information. BE CAREFUL.OLD SCAM NEW DATE. 4-27-21
I got a call on 10-18-2020. I called the customer service number on my Bank of America credit card bill and learned that the phone number is theirs. It showed up as toll free number. Also the fraud alert was real, although I do not know why they decided that an annually occurring bill was suspicious. The advice of customer service- always call the number on the back of your card if you are concerned.
