I had a call from a man named Sam, at 3:23pm today, 6/30/20, at which time I told him that he was not to call me anymore, or my attorney would be the next person that he talked to, and then I hung up. Within the span of 2 minutes, he had called me back 7 times!! 7!! They call from 1-844-717-0888, and 1-833-935-0764, which show on caller ID as Oregan, and Washington. As I drove home, which is about 1/2 mile from my job, I had turned my ringer off, and by the time I picked up my phone to go inside, I looked down at my phone, and he had called me 12 more times!!! That is 19 calls!!! All within a 10 minute (or less) time frame!!!! That is totally unacceptable!! There is NO reason that we should be harassed by people like this, who won't take no for an answer, and think that they have the right to call us, and threaten us, and that we are going to stand by, and let them do this!! I have blocked both numbers, and have written a statement saying that they are NOT to contact me by phone, or mail, which will be sent by certified mail tomorrow, and I hope that will solve the problem. But, I wonder how long it will be before they start using another number to call me from??
Had a call from 844 717 0888 saying my account would be charged $800.00 for service. Have received about 10 calls in 2 days. I do not talk to them, the message is on voice mail.
Called saying if not call back be charged $800.00. To call or be charged.
Red message appeared on my computer stating a virus could not be blocked and I should call the number.
"Adam Rogers" was supposedly his name. They say I'd signed a contract for tech support from Microsoft (no I didn't) and were going to charge my account $800. Losers. They prey on the elderly, I think.
"Adam Rogers" again. I called back, but he was gone for the day. The other guy said he looked it up and it was a contract I'd signed (wrong!) and they'd be charging my account $800. I said "Yep, you go right ahead and try. I didn't sign a contract, and I figure this is just a scam." He said he'd ask "Adam Rogers" to call me tomorrow. Rotsa ruck, you crooks.
I RECEIVED A CALL TODAY STATING THEY WILL BE CHARGING MY ACCOUNT $800.00 FOR RENEWAL COMPUTER. THEY SAID THAT I SIGNED A CONTRACT. UNFORTUNATELY I DID SIGN A CONTRACT BACK IN 2017. I DID NOT KNOW THAT THIS WAS A SCAM. THE NUMBER WAS 1-844-717-0888 HIS NAME WAS ADAM ROGERS. HE SAID I HAD TO CANCEL THIS ON MY COMUTER. I TOLD HIM I DON'T HAVE A COMPUTER ANYMORE. HE LEFT TWO MESSAGES WHICH I R EALLY DIDN'T UNDERSTAND HIM SO I CALLED THE NUMBER AND GOT HIM AND THE SAME THING EVERYONE ELSE WAS TOLD. I FINALLY HUNG UP BECAUSE HE WAS MAKING SICK AS I AM NOT WELL TO BEGIN WITH

Not sure if my original message was sent or not. Do not answer the phone for these people. It is a SCAM! I had a problem getting Amazon Prime running in our bedroom and the Amazon screen said to call a number 844-717-0888 to get help. I did and they in fact fixed the problem, convinced me to spend $420 to get rid of all the foul ware and bugs in the computer which included one year of service. I received a call today saying I would be charged $1,000 for renewal of the contract. After over 2 hours of trying to get them to provide me a copy of the so-called contract, and a copy of the audio file that they supposedly have from recording every transaction, all they could provide was a single page of summary of charges with the recurring charge of $1,000 for the next 10 years listed with my "electronically" signed name at the bottom. I never signed anything of the sort and suspect the technician fraudulently signed my name to this bogus piece of paper. I believe they get their salaries from selling contracts whether legit or not. I am disputing the charge and if I can every figure out who they are, where they are located, and what the company (if it even exists since there is nothing on any browser that has this Trend Technology on it) does. I plan to file charges of fraud against them if I can get the additional information ... luckily, my best friend's son is a contract lawyer and will pursue this for me at no charge ... YEH for us old folks fighting back!
