My father called this number trying to get help with access to his ATT email address. The rep. acted like he worked for ATT and even accessed my father's screen for 20 minutes troubleshooting. Then he said it had been hacked by someone in Russia and asked him to pay $200 to fix his email account. Obviously, this was suspicious to me when my father told me, so I called back. A rep answered with "Welcome to Support," and I asked for the name of the company to which they provided support. The rep would not disclose it. Finally, he said he worked for Epson. I told him this couldn't be true, because someone from this company helped my father with an ATT issue. He then said they had a partnership with ATT and told me to call back, and I might get ATT that time. I asked to speak with his manager. The manager also refused to give me the name of the company, citing why I would want to know about him. Then he said that they were a third party support provider and that his rep had never claimed that he worked for Epson (which was entirely untrue). I'm not sure what their end game is, whether it's accessing your computer and possible hacking it, or trying to get money for fraudulent services (or both), but please BEWARE. I would file a complaint with BBB, but I do not know this company's name/info. If anyone has any insight, please post your feedback. Thanks.
I JUST KEPT GOING ALONG WITH THE CROOK AND ASKED HIM TO E MAIL ME HIS PH, ADDRESS AND LICENSE NUMBER, HE SAID HE WOULD SO I KEPT HIM GOING TILL HE ASKED ME TO TYPE IN WWW.HELPME.NET HE SAID ENTER. I SAID OK. HE ASKED WHAT IT SAID AND I CUSSED HIM OUT. HE CALLED BACK AND I BLASTED HIM WITH A BOAT HORN.
Someone from this number called me and said his name was John and he was tech support that my computer was not fixed properly from the last cleanup. They wanted access to my computer and that they would call me when they were finished. I hung up the phone, because a true tech would have you stay on the phone while they were working on your computer. No tech support will call you! You call them only.

Called at 8:43 am which may be normal for everyone else but woke everyone up....we work nights. Then they didn't even have the courtesy to let us know why they called. I'm sure we're on the do no call registry but I'll double check. If they don't ever leave a message we will NEVER speak. All calls are screened.
