Got unwanted call from 844-870-0800?
Hello I received a bill from St. Vincent Medical Center, 1374 S. Babcock Street, Melbourne, FL 32901 with invoice that was five years ago back in 2015. Letter provided to make check payable to St. Vincent Medical Center PO Box 52675, Los Angeles, CA 90074-2675. My insurance company called on my behalf because there was an error in the alleged balance. My balance should have been a zero; the invoice was asking for twice as much as the original balance. The insurance representative asked to discussed my case. The person at the 844-870-0800 said not possible there has to be a formal written request, which is odd. The insurance rep said that one will be sent and stated that it is an error; and that my insurance documentation will be sent to whoever sent the invoice. I have been calling the same number for the past five days but there is complete silent at the other end. Very weird. Someone may be selling our medical information. There was no call.
I got a call and a letter saying I owed money from my hospital visit last year. Does anyone know if this is legit? Sounds pretty fishy to me.
Has anyone paid what they are claiming you owe? I keep getting letters from this with this exact type of information and I’m very skeptical
do I need to pay the bill? is it scam?
