Complaints about Phone Numbers844-873-####

844-873-8179 is the callback number. The number that is being called from is different, but within an area I am familiar with. The message that is left for me also has the name of the business distorted, but it mentions being a member I am eligible for an in-home visit. Scam, spam, and scum.

This was the callback number left on the message, and although they did not say their name, I find out it is signify health calling. I have previously called signify health directly, and told them not to call me anymore, that I have no relationship with them, so now they are calling from a number having my local prefix, to try to trick me into answering.

Call and Voice Mail from 844-873-8172. Did not take the call and voice mail message was incomplete. Sounded like a robocall.

Caller ID showed "Signify Health" and automated message stated "You have a caller, please press "1" to accept". Never press any key when prompted, or your number will get marked as valid and you get more spam calls. Btw, I am on the Do not call list.

Called asking for a non-speaking family member. I said I am her guardian and asked what this was pertaining to. She wouldn't answer me I asked where she was calling from and she wouldn't answer me again. She asked to speak to non-speaking person again and I said that wasn't possible. She said she needed permission to speak to me. I gave her permission and she hung up. Seems like a scam since nobody has ever called for that family member being that she has no bills, no credit, no need to communicate with anyone.

I get a call from this number constantly, always leaving the same voicemail. - "Hello my name is Tim and I'm calling from Signify health, on behalf of blue cross blue shield of Texas. I was hoping to speak with you about the in-home annual wellness visit as part of your membership. Please give us a call at 844-873-8179 our office hours are 7am to 7pm and we look forward to hearing from you, have a great day bye." The tone is always the same and the message is unchanging. This appears to be a phishing attempt, over and over again.

The same “compromised” recording supposedly from FB is what I got 4-5 times in one day. Guy said Russia might be trying to use my account. Ha!

Same thing happened to me two times yesterday and today and I asked to speak to his supervisor and provide me something prooving he was with facebook since they don't answer with a company name and he hung up. He then called today again and he is very hard to understand understand and believe he is oversea and gave me a different name than he did yesterday. Told him I went through all my Facebook security measures and I am fine and changed my password, he then wanted to verify that what was my new password. I said I'm not comfortable and calling the FTC to make a complaint about scams and he hung up too again. I have blocked this number.

A lady called today and requested I call this number right away as my account had been severely compromised and would be suspended.. When I called this number, a man answered and said my Facebook account had been compromised by someone from an overseas location. I told him I looked up his number and he was a scam. He said okay if you believe that and hung up.

Said he was with facebook, and I should call this number 844-873-6057 or my face book would be turned off.
