This is not a scam. It's a medical screening call for colorectal cancer. It's the second leading cause of death in the US. Take it seriously folks.
I was put through to these people through the Brother (printers) website 844-908-0301. They are 100% scammers. They insisted on selling me a $300 package for something I didn't need (which I did not buy). FYI, they put up a "Virtual Assistant" on whatever technical site they can manage to get past and when you click on the chat button for the website you are on, you assume you are speaking with one of that website's employee - BUT YOU ARE MOST DEFINITELY NOT. In the case of Brother, Brother is aware that this is an on-going issue since at least 2013 and are aware that these scammers are piggy-backing on their website and yet have not done a thing to fix this issue. It's a shame they don't care about their customers. DO NOT ASSUME THE CHAT BUTTONS ON THE SITE YOU ARE ON ARE THE ACTUAL CHAT FOR THE WEBSITE. When I asked for their company name, they refused to give it simply stating they are "tech support" but CAN'T give you their company name. Who can't give their company name? Oh and btw, I also spoke with Steve (also refers to himself as Paul Brown).
Called September 10,2020 pretending to be from Microsoft. Broken English & stated his name was Robin, Later gave name as Steve. Bank account hacked 3 months later. Received call from 301-778-0208.
Called the 28 and the 29 of January twice around noon, asked for husband in broken English .Didn't understand what for, Are French speaking living in Montreal Quebec Canada. Hanged up the first time and didn't answer the second. Annoying.

Why would they call for no reason if it's not a scam? I have not had any screen-related scans in years nor have a seen a doctor recently, and thus there's no reason why they'd call me. There's also no business information related to this number. Let's call this what it is — a SCAM.
