Got a call stating they were from Optimum and that my computer we hacked. Took over my computer using AweSun program and ran all sorts of tests to show me the problem. When they finished I said you are not charging me, they said Optimum was not charging me but Malwarebytes will charge me $499. to keep my computer safe. I said "NO". I also called Optimum and they said that they did not call me. I usually block these calls, today I didn't, I guess I will be blocking more calls.

Someone, who barely spoke English, told me he helped me with my security 3 years ago, and did I remember him. I said I had no idea what he was talking about. He repeated his spill again, and I repeated I had no idea what he was talking about.. He swore and me and hung up. Over the next few minutes, several different people called me, from the same number, and sore at me, by name.They all sounded like they were from India.

Got an email with same sale of some microsoft software for $1999.00, saying it was shipped and on its way, any problems call this number, thx for taking the time to report this, wondering if someone got my CC and made a purchase. Thanks again, Eric

I have the same-I received an email from a gmail address that had this number to call if I did not order. This is just a scam to get you to respond-validate a good email and.or your cell number so they can scam you or sell your information. These people are slick don't be scammed-DONT respond-call your local Police/Sheriff file fraud and ID theft complaint. Go to FTC.gov and file a complaint to serve as your official I notified report-By law authorities hacve to accept the report.
