company named global, i really thought it was a scam because they asked for my ssn. i hung up on them , a few weeks later some locater people found me at my job and gave me papers for court . i really should have done more research

Said they were “global” a mediation group. I asked if they were trying to collect a debt- she responded by saying they were a mediation group. I told them I needed to know what they were trying to mediate and she said to unlock my account she needed address, social, etc to see my account. I asked again if she was trying to collect a debt and she started to get angry! Totally hilarious. She said that “my case” would be moving forward and they had a written order to contact my supervisor and “determine my location “. I asked her what she would say to my supervisor seeing as she hadn’t told me anything hahahahaha! Total frauds and scam artists. This is a shakedown for sure.
