they claim to be from Comcast Business but are not. said my modem was giving errors and my internet will quit working. wanted me to load a program they wanted to send me (don't think so). denied it was a program and asked if I wanted a new modem at no charge. nope and hung up.
comcast scam .. do not call me comcast .. heck I talk on the phone maybe 2 times a year . if your not My Mom do not call me... people these days act like phones are for calling people on..
i received a email with my last 4 digit of my bank account, saying has an automatic payment of a credit card , and asked me to call them if is no correct, i know is a scam
The automated message said it was from Comcast business telling me to install the new modem they mailed to me. Call this number to activate. I never received a modem. When I called the number they told me I qualified for a free auto repair coverage and free towing then tried to sell me on a monthly plan. Blah Blah Blah.... Needless to say I hung up.
I called this number thinking it was Citibank in regards to a refund and I was asked for a different credit card and my social security number, which I a gave all that info thinking I was talking to Citibank.
