I answered call to loud laughter on the other end (perhaps socializing with fellow spammers). When caller finally spoke he said he was Christian from a hearing aid service. I tried interrupting, not to waste his time, letting him know that nobody here was I need of hearing aids. HE then tells ME ‘do you normally talk over people? you’re ridiculous!’ I’M ridiculous? That’s funny since you’re the one calling my personal cell phone about something that doesn’t pertain to me and talking over ME when I’m trying to tell you I’m not interested. Kind of an invasion of my privacy I think. He was a rude A-hole.
Tried calling the 408-755-6500 number that showed on my cell phone as the number the voicemail came from. It just rang and rang. Then called the 855 number and a woman with a foreign accent answered: "Thank you for calling the mediation department of ___ & ____" (I couldn't understand the company name she said). Then I just hung up.
Recorded message, received via a Robocall. Sufficiently vague message left "You have been contacted previously" "to our office for review due to the severity of this matter". I called the number and they want you to tell them what number the message was left on (because the calls are robocalling a huge list of phone numbers) and IF you give them your number, they want your name as well so they can "verify" they are speaking to the correct person (they don't know who've they called so they need that info from you). Then the shakedown starts. It's a scam, please don't fall for it. They answer the callback number as "Client Resolution Services". There is no such business. Again, it is a scam and every time the female answers the phone she introduces herself with a different name.
