Got unwanted call from 855-522-7663?
Received a call from this number asking for the person who used to havey new landline number. But they used a short version of the first name which was strange considering they were supposed to be confirming a credit application and that would have a person's full legal name. Definitely feels like our number was sold and yet they have no info on us. For sure a scam!!
Got a call indicating they were from Capital One to discuss my application for a card. I called Capital One and verified that I have no open application and this is NOT one of their numbers-blocking the number
This number called twice in one day, minutes apart. First call, I told the caller the person they wanted was deceased and I hung up. Second call went to voice mail where they claimed to be from Capital One, wanting to discuss my ‘latest’ application for a card. I’ve not applied for cards for years. The call sounded legit, but I suspected it was fraudulent as I had not applied for any cards. Advice given to me by authorities was to refuse calls from any number I did not recognize and to give zero information to any caller.
