Got unwanted call from 855-533-7781?
I just got this same text and when I called was given the exact same runaround. She had my information, which I didn't verify, the proceeded to say I owed $2700+ on an installment loan and could dispute it, or pay a settlement. If I disputed, it would be reported to all three credit bureaus. I told her straight up, "NO, this is a scam, and a fraudulent call." She ended the call at that point.
Got a text saying I owe. I received a text from this number stating that I owed $751.29 as a settlement for a payday advance of 3k. I don't have any of the sort and nothing on my credit report for anything either. I played worried oh no what can we do to fix this and lead them on and on. Till they guess I was screwing with them. I figured the longer they wasted there time with me the less they could try to take advantage of someone else.
I received the same text as the previous person. Exact same amount and all .
I received a text from this number stating that I owed $751.29 as a settlement for a payday advance of 3k. I don't have any of the sort and nothing on my credit report for anything either. The lady threatened to report this to all major credit agencies and that it would remain on my account for 7yrs. She did say my correct address and I have not received any mail. She would not tell me who the company was that I supposedly owe money to. I did state that I do not want to receive any further correspondence from that company and ended the call.
