Well I already spoke with the IRS this tax season as someone filed for me (before me) using my SSN. Based on VM and non-matching number for IRS, I call bs. It was a machine synthesized voice that still had more personality than my IRS agent (no offense) but she gave new meaning to flat affect.
They said I’m being investigated for Tax evasion or fraud, I always pay my taxes
I called back and spoke with a person from "India" I told him that this a terrible thing to do and to turn his life around and do the right thing. Help people and stop scamming people. He became very quiet and thought about it.
Robocall with a grab bag of “legal” words that are designed to sound threatening. Ignore and block this caller.
Same as others.. claim for tax fraud case against me. Call the number listed on Google for US Treasury before you call them if you feel you have a tax problem!
They said I have an open case of Tax Fraud and need to call 855-635-7796 immediately.
